What you need:An API key (available to Pros on the MAX plan).
Prerequisites
- A Housecall Pro account on the MAX plan (API access is not available on lower-tier plans).
- Admin-level access to your Housecall Pro account (Office Staff cannot generate API keys).
Step-by-step instructions
- Log in to your Housecall Pro account as an Admin.Go to https://pro.housecallpro.com and sign in with admin credentials.
- Navigate to the App Store.From the main sidebar menu, click App Store (may also be labeled Integrations).
- Go to My Apps → API Access.In the App Store, find the section for API / Developer tools or My Apps.
- Generate an API key.Click Generate API Key. The key is a Bearer token passed as Authorization: Token {key} in all requests. Copy it — it grants access to all data in your account.
Where to paste in EarliestAppointment: In Dashboard → Calendar Sync, select Housecall Pro. Paste your API key.
Tips
- The API key grants full access to your account — only share it with trusted developers.
- API keys are multi-location aware — one key can pull data across all your locations.
- If you are on a plan below MAX, you will need to upgrade to access the API.
