Prerequisites
- An active FrontDesk veterinary account.
Step-by-step instructions
- Log in to your FrontDesk dashboard.Go to https://frontdesk.care and sign in.
- Navigate to Settings → Developer.From the sidebar or settings menu, find the Developer section.
- Generate an API key.Click Generate API Key. Keys are scoped per practice — if you manage multiple practices, generate a key for each one. The key is passed as a Bearer token in the Authorization header.
Where to paste in EarliestAppointment: In Dashboard → Calendar Sync, select FrontDesk. Paste your API key.
Tips
- API keys are scoped per practice — make sure you generate the key for the correct practice.
- FrontDesk also supports webhooks for appointment.booked events — if you want real-time updates, you can register a webhook via the API.
